TIM FULLER

Timothy William Fuller is a versatile vocalist and songwriter based in Vancouver, celebrated for blending his deep roots in soul and funk with the infectious energy of house music.
Born in Minnesota, Fuller’s career has spanned multiple locations, including California, Turks and Caicos and his established base in Vancouver. His musical foundation was built on childhood church choirs, classical piano studies, and
intensive training in percussion. Tim discovered his love for vocal jazz harmony during high school, which later led to extensive studies toward a post-secondary degree in the subject.
Tim is widely recognized for his work with several Vancouver-based groups, starting with the acclaimed acapella vocal quartet, The Melloyds, releasing two albums and touring
internationally. Following this, Fuller’s early career saw him secure a record deal with his funk/ R&B ensemble, Vote of Confidence (VOC). He is also well-known for fronting the popular live funk/soul band SoulStream, which held a prominent long-running residency at the VanCity nightclub Bar None.
A key creative outlet is his personal band, Dreaded Soul. This project is Fuller’s vehicle for combining old school and new school soul, R&B, and house music, delivering deep grooves and a powerful stage presence that serves as a high-energy celebration of danceable music.
Influenced by soul legends like Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Barry White, Stevie Wonder and Prince, Fuller’s musical direction evolved upon discovering house music pioneers such as Frankie Knuckles and Tony Humphries. This led him to channel his signature soul-drenched vocal style into electronic music production. Fuller’s involvement in house music is extensive, built on collaborations with both local and international artists.
Ultimately, Timothy William Fuller’s career is defined by his ability to bridge musical worlds.
From the disciplined harmonies of The Melloyds and the raw energy of SoulStream, he seamlessly transitioned into a pivotal figure in the global house music scene.
