COME FLY WITH ME- MICHAEL BUBLE TRIBUTE

Dane Szohner was born in Vancouver, British Columbia where he has been a Musical Theatre Actor for over 15 years. He has appeared in many amazing productions such as: Oklahoma!, Crazy for You, Titanic, Bye Bye Birdie, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, and most recently Disney’s Beauty and The Beast as Gaston.

His love for the Golden Age of music and film began at a very young age and who else dominated the world of entertainment so completely than, Frank Sinatra. Dane studied all the fabulous musicals Frank made with Gene Kelly and Bing Crosby, then moving on to his mammoth discography including his amazing live albums like, “Sinatra Live at The Sands”. Then eventually going back to Frank’s origins as a young artist who was, without a doubt, the world’s FIRST Pop-star! There’s only one word to describe it… Obsession.

Growing up in Vancouver there is of course one name that comes to mind when you think of someone current who really brings to life the music of the past… Michael Buble. Dane performed with many of the same people that Michael has performed with and even got a chance to meet him in an intimate social setting where he told him “You beat me to it!”, to which Michael laughed. During that conversation, they became aware that guess what… they were taught by the same Voice Teacher!

Dane has had the privilege of travelling the world, bringing his love of Michael Buble and Frank Sinatra to thousands through his concerts and as a performer aboard Holland America and Princess Cruise Lines.
