DANI BLACK

Dani Black.JPG

A life-long resident of Coquitlam, BC, Canadian singer-songwriter Dani Black has accumulated over 400 hours of on-stage solo performance in the past two years alone.

The fluently bilingual artist has built a reputation as the go-to entertainer in the region – increasingly

gracing the stages of festivals, cafés, bars, restaurants, and concerts throughout Metro Vancouver – wowing crowds, often with 60+ songs over four sets.

Dani shot to TikTok notoriety in January 2021, with 1M+ views of her 20-second rendition of

“Wellerman”. In addition, she used her talents for good during the COVID-19 lockdowns, raising

$17,500 for local Food Banks through an online concert and Go Fund Me campaign aptly named Music for Meals. Building on this momentum, in April 2021 Dani performed the national anthem at Rogers Arena for her Vancouver Canucks hockey team.

Starting piano lessons at the age of 3 and writing music since 11, the teen counts singing, songwriting, and storytelling among her many talents.

Oh, she also happens to play electric guitar, ukulele, and saxophone on the side.

Her biggest musical inspiration? Taylor Swift... and, well, life.
