SUGAR plays all your favourite sweet and soulful tunes ranging from Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers and Stevie Wonder all the way to Dusty Springfield, Al Green and even Prince. 

 

As the resident house band at Irish Times in Victoria, SUGAR has honed its craft playing week-in week-out on a night they’ve branded as Soul Sundays, which has become a local favourite over the last two years. Expect a blend of three-part vocal harmonies and exciting solos from all band members. 

 

SUGAR claims it’s secret sauce comes from saxophonist Andrew Greenwood, whose technical ability and soulful phrasing captivates audiences, and elevates the performance to a whole new level.
