THE EARLY BEATS: From Beginnings to Beatlemania to You! 

 

Another kind of Beatles band. Four veteran Vancouver music mavens play the early music of The Beatles. 

 

Performing select songs from the pre-fame Cavern and Hamburg nightclub repertoires of 1960 to 1962, the Rock n' Roll, R&B, Girl Group and Rockabilly numbers that The Beatles themselves loved and were inspired by, as well as their own number one hits and deep album cuts from the Beatlemania years of 1963 through 1966. The Early Beats bring the great vocal harmonies, the period gear and the energy to these amazing songs. Get ready to sing a long and dance! 

 

We are 4 long time friends and former bandmates from various groups and, just like most people, we love The Beatles. It is such a great experience to put our hearts into presenting this music and then to feel an immediate connection with the audience.

 

We bring a relaxed, fun approach to our shows while treating the music with the respect it deserves.
