Adrian Emond is a guitarist, performer, and music educator based in Vancouver, BC, with over 25 years of experience on the instrument and more than a decade of regular live performances throughout the city. His trio specializes in instrumental music that blends classic jazz with cinematic and pop influences — transforming familiar melodies into rich, mood-setting arrangements ideal for private events, upscale venues, and corporate settings.

 

Adrian’s background as an award-winning film composer informs his musical approach, with a strong focus on crafting atmosphere and adapting to the energy of the room.

 

The Adrian Emond Trio offers multiple configurations depending on the event — from a classic jazz trio with upright bass and drums, to an organ trio, to an acoustic-style ensemble with piano and bass.

 

Adrian also performs solo or as part of a duo, and can scale up to a quartet featuring piano, bass, drums, and guitar. Across all formats, the group focuses on tasteful, groove-oriented instrumental sets designed to enhance the ambiance without overpowering conversation.
