Stephen Thakkar is a singer-songwriter/theatre artist raised in Oakville, Ontario but now proudly calling Vancouver his home. With over a decade of professional experience, he has performed everywhere from intimate cafes and restaurants, to some of the biggest stages across Canada.

Stephen trained in musical theatre at Sheridan College but it was as a street musician that he truly discovered his artistry. Performing as a busker on four different continents, he has learned how to captivate a crowd, adapt to different environments and create genuine and memorable connections with his audience.

Stephen specializes in fingerpicking on the acoustic guitar allowing him to play for any kind of event. Whether a relaxed dinner, to a lively wedding or corporate event. His sound draws comparisons to City & Colour, Ed Sheeran & Bruce Springsteen. He has a particular fondness for music from the 70's so you can expect him to play some Fleetwood Mac or Queen at some point in the night.

Aside from music, Stephen is also an accomplished theatre actor, having performed across Canada with companies like The National Arts Centre, The Charlottetown Festival, The Citadel Theatre & The Arts Club of Vancouver.
