Hailing from Vancouver, Luis Melgar is a pianist, vocalist, and entertainer with over 20 years of professional performance experience. Specializing in sophisticated piano/vocal entertainment for restaurants, lounges, hotels, and private events, he delivers a polished blend of jazz standards, timeless pop classics, soulful ballads, and feel-good favorites. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Michael Bublé, Elton John, Ray Charles, and the great crooners of the jazz era, his performances create the perfect atmosphere—whether elegant and relaxed or lively and upbeat.

Alongside his piano/vocal work, Luis is also an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, performing on trumpet and trombone to add a unique touch to select performances. For the past eight years, he has entertained audiences aboard international cruise ships with his engaging solo shows and lounge productions, while continuing to perform with multiple bands throughout Vancouver when ashore.
