Vocalist and pianist Diane Lines is a Vancouver based singer and musician who is considered one of BC best performers!

 

Along her cast of stellar musicians have been touring with her signature show Diane Lines’ JUMP! A Celebration of Swing, Boogie, and Jump Blues, with performances in Switzerland, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Las Vegas and in various venues, theatres and festivals throughout British Columbia.

At the beginning of her musical journey, Diane received her musical education at the Banff School of Fine Arts, the Humber School of Creative and Performing Arts in Toronto, and at Cleo Laine and John Dankworth’s Wavendon Music Program in England.

​

Diane was also the pianist/accompanist for Grammy winner Michael Bublé and has also performed with a variety of artists including: Gabriel Mark Hasselbach, Marian McPartland, Beverley Elliott, Dee Daniels, Jim Byrnes, Blues Boss Kenny Wayne, Gospel great John Boutte, Alfie Zappacosta, Bria Skonberg, Linda Tillery, Amanda Wood and Shari Ulrich.

 

She was also the principal pianist and vocalist with the Dal Richards Orchestra from 2002 to the present. and she performed throughout the United States as keyboardist and vocalist with Mac Frampton’s Hollywood Hills Orchestra.

 

This incredibly talented lady also recorded and toured in Canada with Juno Award winning singer/songwriter Gary Fjellgaard and appears on Gary’s CDs Under Western Skies and The Best of Gary Fjellgaard.  Diane’s work with Fjellgaard earned her consecutive nominations for BCCMA’s Keyboardist of the Year.
