KELSEY BRETTE

Kelsey Brette is a Vancouver-based musician whose warm tone and soulful, understated delivery create an intimate connection with listeners. Blending influences from folk, soul, and soft rock, her performances feel grounded, emotive, and deeply human—rooted in a voice that is both gentle and unmistakably strong.
Originally from the Alberta prairies, Kelsey toured nationally as a vocalist and percussionist with the Juno-nominated band Yukon Blonde, sharing stages with acts such as Modest Mouse and The Arkells. Those years on the road shaped her warm, magnetic stage presence—an ease she brings to both full-band performances and intimate acoustic settings, including her live music classes at Modo Yoga Vancouver.
Now completing her debut album, Kelsey continues to hone a sound centered around thoughtful storytelling and rich emotional texture. Her music reflects the quiet honesty of lived experience, offering listeners something familiar, resonant, and quietly captivating.
