Born and raised in Vancouver, BC , David Capper is a singer/song-writer multi-instrumentalist & entertainer with an eclectic, original style. Being a VCC School of Music graduate has given his performance a wide range of musical genres and has led him to working with diverse groups such as traditional Latin music collectives, club DJs and various theatrical productions. Many years of working in the music industry in different capacities such as brand activation, retail management, and instrument production has given him differing and insightful perspectives on the music business.

 

Moving to full-time musical performance in 2016 has brought up many different challenges for David to navigate, including creatively, technically, and logistically, all while balancing a schedule that has found him in such venues as Fairmont Pacific Rim, Joe Fortes, Gotham Steakhouse & FourSeasons Whistler.

Using a mix of creating loops, improvisational solos and live percussion gives Davids performance a full and energetic sound. Recently, David has found himself entertaining in many of the Irish & British pubs all throughout the lower mainland giving him set lists a lively, crowd pleasing, rustic feel.
