DJ ANDY

"Renderer of infectious dance vibes and a party-igniter like no other." That's how DJ Andy Soul described himself. His eclectic mixology is best described as a story of soulful-infused blends with influences in Hip Hop, RnB, Reggaeton, Pop, EDM, and Classic Rock.
His passion for music transcends mixing tunes. Growing up, he adopted his parents' appreciation for Motown and Funk. As well, his love for Hip Hop started at a young age through his interest as a break-dancer and as a graffiti/portrait artist. Throughout his teens, he was already making mixtapes for friends and family.
DJ Andy Soul continued on his musical pursuits as a tenor saxophonist with his high-school jazz band and as lead singer of cover band, “Phazers On Stun,” performing at various Vancouver based venues, all while DJ’ing with his company. Following this, the demands of his skills as a DJ grew amongst wedding and corporate clients. He then devoted his business solely to develop his expertise as a mobile DJ. He is able to provide self-owned, high quality equipment to his events as part of his services.
As a DJ, he has performed for special events for "big name" corporate clients including Pemberton Music Festival, VGC International School, New Image College, Steve Nash Fitness World, SpinHouse, Gold’s Gym, and Armani Exchange, just to name a few. He is also resident DJ at both Moxie's Bar & Grill Guildford and the “ILoveKickBoxing” Coquitlam studio. As such, he stays connected with the trends of Top 40 Hits and Hip Hop/RnB amongst a young, urban crowd of clients. He has recently developed his DJ’ing skill further as a scratch DJ, and enjoys cutting up samples on a fresh beat.
But most importantly, for DJ Andy Soul, it is all about setting up the groove on the dance floor, taking the party-goers on a musical journey, and maintaining the energy, regardless of era, category, tempo, or genre of music.
