The Chris Millington Band is a 7-piece dance party powerhouse, based in Victoria, that will blow you away with their full throttle, unabashed audio assault of Top 40 pop, funk and classic rock.

 

Chris Millington graduated from the University of Ottawa, with a bachelor of music in performance. He then entered Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music, and at the age of 22, Chris won an audition for the principal saxophone position in the Central Band of the Canadian Armed Forces, Ottawa, Canada’s premier military band.

Throughout Chris’s career he has toured with and led various musical ensembles across North America, Europe, Cyprus, the Pacific Rim and Russia. He has performed for the CBC, CTV and Global television networks, numerous radio jingles, theatre shows, and jazz festivals across Canada.

Chris has performed for numerous dignitaries including Her Royal Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, Prime Ministers Jean Chretien, Margaret Thatcher, presidents Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr, Bill Clinton and Boris Yeltsin. He has performed with artists such as The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, David Foster, Hugh Marsh, Tommy Banks, The Temptations, to name a few and also performs with the Vancouver Island Repertory Jazz Orchestra.
