Jon loves art, story-telling, and seeking out the beauty in both mother nature and human nature. He strives to better understand and interpret our world through his art. Raised on a healthy diet of 90’s cartoons, movies and comic books, Jon has always loved the magic of art and story-telling as a means of entertainment, education and experience.

 

Since 2005, Jon has worked in the Film & TV Animation industry as an animator, designer, storyboard artist, writer, director, puppet maker and occasional bad actor. Primarily working in 2D Animation, while also dabbling in the world of stop-motion, watercolour painting, urban sketching and caricature portraits.

 

The power of art is real, whether it be a single image scribbled on a napkin or an age-old fable told around a campfire. Art can evoke deep emotions within us, fuel our courage to take action, or inspire us in ways we never expected.  Jon's underlying goal is to use the gift of art to add some joy and positivity into the world, even if it only reaches one person at a time.
