DAVE HARTNEY

Dave Hartney grew up influenced by 90’s & classic rockers as well as modern guitar-slinging country superstars. He’s become a fan favourite for his high energy performances and matching big smile, opening for some of country music’s biggest stars across Canada.
Dave has taken the stage at some great events and festivals the past few years, including Sunfest (where he opened for Keith Urban in 2024), the Cloverdale Rodeo (BC’s largest rodeo and beer gardens), Merritt (Rockin’ River), and the Williams Lake Stampede. He’s also performed at notable events including BC Lions tailgate parties, Gone Country (annual cancer fundraiser), Variety BC fundraisers, and Nashville North at the Calgary Stampede.
The Canadian Country Music Association recognized Dave’s songwriting with a Songwriter’s Showcase at Country Music Week. Dave’s songs have been spun across country on radio, satellite, and NHL rinks, as well as network TV including ABC’s hit “Nashville,” and recently on Hallmark’s series “Ride.”
Dave crossed the country on his second national radio tour supporting the release of his 2nd single “Everything Girl,” which was his first charting single at country radio. The song was added to Spotify’s “Down Home Country” playlist, helping it reach 375,000 streams and counting.
Dave’s songs have also been played at his hometown NHL rink during Vancouver Canuck’s hockey games at Rogers Arena. The music video, directed by multiple CCMA Director of the Year winner Stephano Barberis, is available on YouTube.
