Francois Laberge is an accomplished musician with some 45 years of experience, who will charm you with the romantic sounds of Paris - poetry of the heart and soul of France. You and your guests will have a front row seat to enjoy traditional Musette music reminiscent of Paris, its Bastille district with the sidewalk cafes and its many cabarets, where these fundamental tunes of

happy air and love were born.

As a versatile artist, he has performed both as a soloist and as an ensemble musician at prestigious events such as the Cornucopia Wine Festival in Whistler, the 28th Vancouver International Wine Festival, and the White Rock Sea Festival. His international engagements include a performance at Château Chantilly in Burgundy, France.

François was a founding member of La Tanguisette, a duet with pianist Takuhi Sedefci, interpreting the works of Astor Piazzolla in Vancouver, Montreal, and Victoria. Together, they also performed their French repertoire five times at Dîner en Blanc events in Victoria and Vancouver, capturing the elegance and charm of French café culture.

Since 2012 Francois also played as part of the “Les Six Saisons de l’Amour” show, which he founded and performed together with singer and guitarist Rejean Bussieres.

Known for his stylistic range, François presents a variety of solo shows, including a recital of 18th-century Scottish music and poetry, a living revue of traditional Irish music, jazz interpretations inspired by Django Reinhardt, and a comedic show based on the life of a traveling musician. He is also a sought- after entertainer for après-ski performances in Austria and Bavaria. From 2016 to 2024, François was a featured performer in the Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth, Washington, where he gave an impressive 256 performances in

2023 alone.
