Jared Richardson (JD Rich) is a pianist, composer and music producer from Victoria, BC, and a graduate of Berklee College of Music. Since moving to Vancouver, Jared has performed a variety of solo, duo and small band shows across jazz, pop, and other genres at venues including Guilt & Co., The Sylvia Hotel, Frankie's Jazz Club, Tyrant Studios, and 2nd Floor Gastown.
 

As a solo pianist, Jared can perform creative arrangements of popular songs from across the decades, jazz standards, and recognizable movie themes; as well as genre-crossing original music. He can also improvise endless sets, and even create music with audience participation based on a given mood or theme.

 

In addition to playing solo, Jared is available for pop/R&B and jazz duos with powerful vocalists, as well as jazz and funk/fusion trios.
