Thomas Beckman has been one of Vancouver’s pre-eminent viola virtuosos for over a decade.

 

With influences ranging from classical to contemporary music, he currently serves as the principal violist for the Prince George Symphony Orchestra and is also a founding member for the award-winning instrumental trio Sons of Granville.

 

He is equally in his element whether playing classic repertoire without amplification or using his loop pedal to create modern arrangements with layers of captivating orchestral sounds.
