RISING MOON SINGERS

 Rising Moon Singers is an all-Indigenous womxn hand drum group sharing their medicine of song and drum. 

 

The womxn of this group represent the Musqueam, Snuneymuxw, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux and Nehiyaw nations.  Rising Moon Singers are community-minded, holding different perspectives and gifts. 

 

Collectively, they strive to reclaim, decolonize and indigenize spaces, contribute to the healing of our communities and promote the connection between all our relations. 

 

Rising Moon Singers has 8 singers in total: Elder Kelly White, Casey Desjarlais, Claire Shannon-Akiwenzie, Dakota Anderberg, Jade Banshee-Brass, Rayanna Seymour, Summer Tyance and Vanessa Chatelaine.
