THE POLYESTER PHILHARMONIC

Juno Award-winning singer, Angela Kelman has a new "gig" these days. For ten years she was the lead singer of the group "Farmer's Daughter".

 

In those ten years, the band was together their credits include two gold albums, a Juno, two CCMA Awards, and numerous BCCMA and West Coast Music Awards. Featured television performances included Canada AM, Pamela Wallin Live, Vicki Gabreau, Mike Bullard, Dini Petty, and It's A Living to name a few. Their 12 videos and numerous specials on CMT made them highly recognized as one of Canada's premier performers.

 

Since the birth of her son and a hiatus from "The Daughters", Angela has finally put together a band that she has dreamed of since her teens. The Polyester Philharmonic is a musical trip back to the '60s and 70's transporting the audience to the hits and memories of this great era.

 

Performing Motown, Disco, Pop, and R&B with an all-star lineup of singers and musicians, Angela is reliving the musical moments that inspired her to follow her dream of being a singer/entertainer.

 

There is no denying that Angela Kelman is one of Canada's outstanding all-around entertainment personalities.
