“I am happiest sitting on a beach, guitar in hand, strumming out a new song.” Growing up on the beaches of Vancouver Island lends a west coast vibe to Kylee Epp’s music. She blends her hippie roots with sassy bubble gum pop and tops it all off with a dash of cowboy, creating a unique sound that’s all her own.

Kylee was born and raised in the small town of Qualicum Beach. She found her voice at an early age and her parents were proud. They requested performances at their dinner parties and at the community BBQ on Family Day. Soon Kylee was known throughout the small town as the ‘little singer girl’ who belted out the national anthem at school assemblies, local hockey games and baseball tournaments. As part of a fundraiser in middle school, Kylee was invited to record a song in a professional studio. It was then that she fell in love with music. Immediately afterwards she began writing songs and teaching herself to play the guitar. Kylee recorded her first demo at age 13. By 15 she had put a band together and was playing the local bar circuit!

Kylee spent the next eight years writing, composing, and honing her craft. She toured as a background vocalist and acoustic guitar player for Universal/604  Records recording artist  Jessie Farrell, opening for Alan JacksonBrooks & DunnFaith Hill & Tim McGrawToby KeithSugarlandEmerson DriveJohnny ReidCarolyn Dawn Johnson, and Miranda Lambert, to name just a few, and she appeared in two of Farrell’s music videos:“Let’s Talk About Love” and “Fell Right into You”. She traveled with her own band through Eastern Europe and South Asia playing in bars, concert halls, stadiums, and even a palace to perform for the king and queen of Malaysia!

Kylee passionately immerses herself in all aspects of the music making process. From writing, composing, performing and recording, she is continually exploring and evolving her sound – drawing inspiration from her experiences. The bright and charming country-pop artist makes music with her heart wide open. Her passion and enthusiasm ring true through sweet vocals and fresh sounds.
