KYLEE EPP BIO: Kylee was born and raised in the small town of Qualicum Beach. She found her voice at an early age and her parents were proud. They requested performances at their dinner parties and at the community BBQ on Family Day. Soon Kylee was known throughout the small town as the ‘little singer girl’ who belted out the national anthem at school assemblies, local hockey games and baseball tournaments. As part of a fundraiser in middle school, Kylee was invited to record a song in a professional studio. It was then that she fell in love with music. Immediately afterwards she began writing songs and teaching herself to play the guitar. Kylee recorded her first demo at age 13. By 15 she had put a band together and was playing the local bar circuit! Kylee spent the next eight years writing, composing, and honing her craft. She toured as a background vocalist and acoustic guitar player for Universal/604 Records. Kylee passionately immerses herself in all aspects of the music making process. From writing, composing, performing and recording, she is continually exploring and evolving her sound – drawing inspiration from her experiences. Kylee’s passion and enthusiasm ring true through sweet vocals and fresh sounds.
RYLAND HAGGIS BIO: Ryland began his music career at age 10, playing drums in his father's band. He continued through high school playing drums, percussion, string bass, and electric bass in every band that the school had to offer. Outside of school he kept busy with blues, rock, and funk groups. After high school Ryland worked to expand his musical palette by getting into jazz and performing onstage and in-studio with singers, songwriters, and artists performing diverse genres from bluegrass to hip-hop and everything in between. In 2004 he received a B.A. in Music from the University of British Columbia where he focused on Jazz, Latin American music, Film Music, and arranging/orchestration. During that time he also played bass in the UBC Jazz Orchestra 'A' Band under director Fred Stride. Ryland has been nominated for Canadian Country Music Association Bass Player Of The Year for 2008, 2009, and 2010, and has recorded and performed with some great country artists like AJ Woodworth, The Higgins, Kylee Epp, Aaron Pritchett, and Jason Blaine.
